      I wrote to you the 7th. inst. to which I beg leave to refer you.

      When you have perused the enclosed please to seal & forwd. it.   I have not yet made a Sale of Lead, but expect that I shall tomorrow of about 11,000 ps. at 25£ p[er] Fothr. which I expect to deliver in the Course of next Month.   I am &c. J.E.B.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
