Sir,	Mr Beaumont informs me that you have accepted of the trust for the children of the late Mr W Wilson of this place & that you have directed that the Interest of the £5000 on Mortgage shall for the future be remitted half yearly to your Banker in Town   As that matter is not usually done you will be pleased to appoint some person at this place to receive the Same and you may depend on its being regularly paid. The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
