Sir	On the 16th inst I sent you by Jackson’s & Potts the London Carriers a Piece fine Silver Containing 1593 Ounces & this day I have sent you another Piece Containg 1288 1/2 Ounces both of which you’ll please to place to Accot with Coll Beaumont at the Market Price & Advise me on your Receipt of them                I am etc    J.E.B

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
