Sir

      Inclosed is an accot. of Agreem[en]ts made with Sev[eral] workmen for further Repaires on the Derwentwater Estate amounting to £860 – which we hope the Board will confirm, the greatest part whereof we hope will be got done this year.

      Inclosed is our cash accot. for last month by which you will please to observe their [sic] is a ballance in our favour of £113.3.4.

      We reced. the Boards Minutes of the 11th Inst and observe the contents  we are

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
