      We have this day drawn on you at 10 days date for £41.6.8 ½  the value of the last Loading of Coales sent for the use of the Hospitall on board the John & Jane of Whitby payable to Mr James Wood on acct. of the Rents & Profitts of the Derwentwater Estate which please to give due Honr.  We refer to the Invoices & Bill of Loading Sent William Corbett Esqr. for the particulars & are

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
