To Mr Thos. Walton at Low Byer Farnacres July 26th 1758

Mr Walton

I have reced. yours in answer to which the Repair of Low Byer has been very well considered by Mr Boag & the Workman he had with him, & Agreement is made for doing it after the best & most prudent manner. You must be mistaken in saying no light is intended in the Milkhouses, as it is a great absurdity to have such a convenience without one. If the Undertakers have so understood it, they may with as much ease Suppose it without a Door or a Roof. As to the Roof of the House, Mr Boag persists in his opinion that what is Intended is right. The Court Loft is Intended to be repaired for holding the Courts. I have wrote to the Undertakers that they are to have the Leading done in the Cheapest way for us, & we desire the Tennant may have the prefference if he will lead as Cheap as another person. I am

      Your Hble. Servt.

      Nichs. Walton
