Dear Sir                    

      We reced. Your Letters with a Deputation to Mr Aynesley of Threepwood to be Gamekeeper in the Barony of Langley and Manour of Wark, which we have presented to Lord Ravensworth and he having desired to know what is the usual Fee upon this Occasion We must desire to know of you what it is that we may acquaint him therewith.  This he has desired us to know from you so that the sooner we hear from you the better.  Mr Boag is much obliged to you for your care & Accot. of his Son and we both wish he may bee well and don’t doubt but your friendly admonitions and advise will have great weight and a good Effect.

      You will hear from us soon in Regard to the Curate at Meldon and we are Sir

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
