Sir

      This being the time of year for setting the Lead Ore Dues we have this day sent an advertisement for that purpose to be Inserted in the Newcastle papers, which we hope the Board will approve of, a Coppy of which we herein send you, as also our Contingent Accots. for Nine Months ending the 31 March last which be pleased to lay before the Board.

      In the Contingent Accots. for 3 Months ending the 31st  March last we have charged Mr Boags Expences of Postage to & from London & his Expences in London, attending the Board of Directors amounting to £63.19.11 being what he really disbursed; and we have likewise charged Forty Pounds for extraordinary Expences in our attendance upon the Derwentwater Woods, which we hope the Board will have no objection to, as our attendance upon the Derwentwater Woods has cost us above double the Sum.     We are
