Sir 

      Lord Ravensworth and Sir Henry Grey of Howick in the County of Northumberland having been pleased to become Security for us as Receivers for the Derwentwater Estate, we begg the favour of you to acquaint the Board of Directors therewith and that you will have the Bonds prepared accordingly. Mr Boags Name etc will stand as it did and all the Alteration as to Mr Walton will be that you make it Nicholas Walton the younger of Farnacres in the County of Durham.

      We have reced. the Boards commands of the 8th Inst and will take care to observe them.     We are

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
