      We have recd. your Letter of the 25th. Inst and desire the acct. for the Mill may end upon the 2nd. Day of Octr. & the Refining & Reducing may be brot. into the Pay Bill as far beyond that as you can make it so as to make the Pay as much as you properly can. The Lead Mill pay will be made the 16th. October, and we propose being at the Mill the 13th. in the Evening & staying til the Pay is over. We are

PS. The Lead Mill, Lime Kiln, Stublick Colliery and Level Pays will be at the same time.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
