      We have recd. yours of the 18th 19th & 21st and realy are much impressed concerning what you mention & Mr Corbet writes about the Bone Ashes & we have wrote to Mr Harvey.

      What you have done <abt> Joseph Robson is perfecty <o…… We are> glad to find our Horses are <….> to get <……..> when we come west to you but are much concerned <….. ……> is very bad tho it is of the dangerous kind.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
