       We have not yet had time to examine into the Particulars of the Pay, but shall do that as soon as possible after our Return from the North, but you are desired to send us all the Due Papers which we delivered to you when at Hexham as also the Account which showed the Money you had advanced to the Workmen etc another Account showing the particulars of what that ought to have been as some part did not come within the present pay.  You will at the same time let us know what Sum we had paid you out of the Dish which was set to collect your Money in, and any other particulars which you may think necessary to communicate to us.  Inclosed we send you Langley Lime Kiln Accounts.      We are

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
