Messrs. Mulcaster Farnacres 2nd. April 1784 I have recd. your Letter of the 29th Ulto. and am obliged by the trouble you have taken but sorry you are are again reduced to trudge on foot. As Harsondale will be out of Lease the 12th of May 1785 do you not think part of that Farm might be kept for you &c and the Housing then allotted to it & the remainder be laid to Sillywray. I wish you to consider this & let us have your sentiments when you see us at the Mill. We are glad that the Lead is likely to be got in by the 19th instant & will endeavour to have the Newburn Lead all down in time. The Pays must be on the 10th & 11th of May as Allendale Town Fair will not interfere. We some time ago ordered the 100 Casks of Bone Ashes which you are now receiving but forgot to mention to you. Will you want any more for this Years consumption? I am Your Humble Servant Nich. Walton Junr.
