      We have recd. your Letter of the 14th. Instant and are of opinion that it will certainly be proper to make a thorough trial of the Slags & whatever else may be found at Woodhall, and desire you will yourselves proceed in the Business according as you have pointed out or with such Deviations as you may see necessary from time to time being satisfied of your Judgement care and Attention. The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
