      You are desired to forward the inclosed Letter by a Special Messenger to Mr. Thos. Temperley.

      As soon as you can let us know how much expense there has been in resetting & burning over again the Bricks which were not sufficiently burnt by Geo. Turners Men, and the Quantity of Bricks which were not sufficiently burnt.  We are

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
