We have recd. your Letters of the 5th. 9th. & 11th inst. together with Thomas Temperleys last Weeks Accounts.

We have corrected the Errors mentioned in yours of the 5th. and upon reexamining the weight of the Assay of the Lead produced from Keswick Minerals we find your calculation to be right.

We are sorry to see this severe weather continue so long and desire the Smelting may stop if you find the carrying it on before fresh weather will be attended with loss.

There will not be occasion to make any further Trial as to Lough Vein Ore, and we do not in the least blame you as the mistake was our own.

You are desired to send off the 12 Stone Common Lead. We observe you have recd. the Iron.

We are all you may be assured extremely concerned for the loss of Lord Ravensworth, a loss which will be severely felt in every Neighbourhood where he used to reside. We are
