Messrs. Mulcaster Farnacres 1st. Nov. 1782

We wrote you yesterday which doubt not you will receive from Jasper Richardson and thank you for your care of the Letters and returning the Bills. The Memorandum at the foot of the Account will shew that every thing contained in it is settled, but we are notwithstanding much pleased by your attention to yourselves as well as us upon this occasion.

The Operation is safe in our Hands. Mr. Walton might not to expect to be so near as he has been on some occasions. When his wishes are <exceeded> he doubts not Messrs. Mulcaster will always rejoice. We must however be content let the Quantity be what it will. We are

      Your Hble Servts.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates. It was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and the generous support of other sponsors. Friends of the North Pennines: Charity No:1137467
