Messrs Mulcaster, 						Farnacres 1st August 1787.



       We have rec[eive]d your Letter of the 30th Ult. Inclosing the Operation for last Month and Mattw. Temperley’s Accounts to the 28th Inst inclusive. The Weather still continues so wet that we cannot get anything done at our Hay. The Account you give of Mr <Martells/Wastells> Coals is exactly as we expected & as have told Mr <Martell/Wastell> when he once <secured the> taking of some Coals for Langley Mill that we apprehended they <are not so>. We propose being at Langley Mill on Tuesday evening the 7th Inst. That is Mr Walton his son and Mr Turner as also Mr <Fryer> and desire you will have a cold Breast of Veal that evening for us we shall be at Hexham that Day at Dinner and will be glad to see one of you there. We propose staying with you till after the 15th of August. Mr Fryer and Mr Turner will return home on the 9th Inst. We are

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
