Mr Ridley

      I desire you will distrain the Slates now lying in Kirkley Quarry on Ellingham Ridge for Rent & Arrears due to the Commiss’rs of Greenwich Hopsital on the 22 day of Nov. Inst. being £3.2.6 for 12 ½ years Rent.  You must at the same time give the Two men who took the Quarry at last Court possession.  You must make the above Seizure on the 22nd being a Thursday morning.  I am yours etc

P.S. You will observe the Rent & Arrears you make the Seizure for is due on the same day
