To Mr John Holmes.                              			Farnacres 4th June 1779



Dear Sir

       We have this day Drawn upon you for £204.17.10 being the amount of 728 1/2 Ounces of fine Silver at 5s/7 1/2d P Ounce.  The Bill is payable Thirty Days after Date.

       Mr Walton desires you'll be so good as send him Mr Everests  Rece.t the next time you write.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
