To Mr Jno. Everest at Greenwich Ravensworth Castle July 27 1759

Sir

We have got a Compleat Copy of a Printed Land Lease from the press & wait only for parchment to have the whole finished. They must be stamped in London & as we propose having them filled up here desire you will send us the names of such of your Commiss’rs as you would have inserted.

We think the filling them up here will be attended with little more trouble than sending the parcells to London. We are Sir, Your most Hble. Servts.

      Hugh Boag Nich. Walton Jnr

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates. It was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and the generous support of other sponsors. Friends of the North Pennines: Charity No:1137467
