Sir

      We Reced. yours in Course in answer to which we are of Opinion there should be Twelve Directors Names Incerted in the Leases now to be granted as it may happen one or more of the Seven you mention may Dye between the time of filling up and the time of Execution, in this Manner it was done at the former General Letting, and it is certainly the best way as any of the Seven of the Twelve Executing will be sufficient.  We therefore desire you will Send us the names of Five other Directors by return of the post as the Leases will be all Printed off this week.

      We have gott sufficient quantity of parchments here and very good.       We are

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
