Sir	Mr Alderman Blackett desires me to write to you on the part of Thos Richd Beaumont Esqr Executor of Sir Thos Blackett Bart who holds a Tenement at Redburn by Lease for three Lives under the Master & Brethern of Sherburn Hospital, two of which being expired; Mr Blackett is desirous of putting in two at this time, & will be glad if you will inform him as soon as convenient, what Fine you will take for a Renewal of that Lease,     I am for J.E.B

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
