Dr Sir In Ans[we]r to your last Letter I send you annex’d a Calculation of the Amount of the late Sales of Lead as near as I can form a Judgement. I wish it was in my power to make a larger Sale; but at present we have not any demand.
Mr Heron received Mr Skeltons letter and I had some difficulty in prevailing on him to draw up a state of the Case respecting the Halls & Co he had a delicacy abo[u]t it thinking that Mr Skelton would do it, but I endeavoured to satisfy him that it was expected from him, he has promised me to do it & to have it revised by Mr Williamson before it be laid before one of the most eminent Counsel. I had the favor of Mrs Beaumont’s Lre [Letter] and am happy to find that she approves of my Answer to Mr James Lees Application. I am still confin’d but my Leg is now almost well and I expect to get abroad tomorrow. I am etc J.E.B
