Sir	Inclosed you will receive a Bill drawn by Eden, Ridley & Co on Castell & Co at One Month dated this day for £2000 the Receipt of which be pleased to acknowledge

	As the Plate of Silver is to be sent to London it must be packed in a Box & directed for Augustus Browne Esqr Foster Lane London, the carriage must be paid & a receipt taken from the Proprietor of the Waggon or the Bookkeeper agreeable to that annex’d, it will be necessary that you should advise Mr Browne of it being sent, he will acknowledge the Receipt of it acquainting you with the Weight, Price & amount of it, in which he may be depended on; I expect that the Price will be 5s 7 1/4 d per Oz the same that was allowed for the last plate sent to Mr Browne the 10th ins[tan]t.

	As Sir Thos Blackett will have occasion for a remittance to London it may suit him to receive it of Mr Browne as he may want it.

	Seven Casks of Lead Fume agreeable to Mr Tweadale’s direction are ready to be sent in the first Vessel for Hull                                                               I am etc  J.E.B
