Gentn    I have drawn a Bill on you dated the 1st instant at Twenty days date Payable to Messrs. Bell Cookson & Co  or Order for One Hundred & three Pounds eight Shillings & three pence being the Balance of your Account with the late Sir Walter Blackett Barot. to the 31st Decem[be]r 1776     I have likewise drawn a Bill on you dated 2nd instant at Twenty days date Payable to Messrs. Bell Cookson & Co for Five Hundred  Pounds on account of Sir John Trevelyan both which Bills you will please to accept & place to Account.  I shall send you on the 6th instant by the London Carrier a piece of fine Silver containing Eight Hundred & Ninety three Ounces & a half which I desire you will place to Account with Sir John Trevelyan at the Markett Price & advise me on the Receipt.
