Dear Sir	I received your Lre [Letter] with the Inclosures undermention’d & I send you inclosed my Rec[eip]t for £100 & a Scotch Note to Ballance  _ I observe what is the Opinion of the Lead Stewards respecting the not drawing of the Dues for the Lot No 4 in which case I think that it will be advisable for Sir Thos to accept of a certain Rent or at the Rate of a certain Sum Per Bing.  I am in Haste   Your’s etc    J.E.B

P.S.   I have had a Lre [Letter] from the Gentlemen of the Lead Comp[any] from Ferrybridge they were much pleased with their reception given them by Sir Thos Blackett & they inform me he has agreed with them for the Sale (to the Lead Company) Moiety of Lot No 4 for £315 the Sum they gave for Bacon’s Moiety, the Lead Co being subject to pay a proportion of the Rent, Compositions etc Renewals.
