Gentlen		I am favoured with your Lre [letter] of the 19th inst & observe the Contents.  The Interest on Lady Blounts Mortgage has been paid up to the 6th Feb last; there will be due to her Ladyship on the 13th Augt next (the day the principal is to be Paid) for Six Months & seven days Interest £584-1-9 for which Sum I have inclosed you Eden Ridley & Cos Bill of this Date at a Month on Castell & Co to enable you to make the s[ai]d payment on Sir Jno Trevelyan’s Acct, the Rec[eip]t of which you will be pleased to acknowledge

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
