Mr Ridley

      We Reced yours of the 3rd Instant which we are very much Surprised at and in Answer thereto if you gave leave to Kirkley to remove the Slates it was Contrary to Mr Walton Junrs. Direction and therefore at your own Risque and we Expect you will pay us the Arrears if you did not give leave you may follow the Slates oblige Kirkley to bring them back and make a fresh Seizure but this must be done within 30 days from the time of the Removall.  In either way we expect the Arrear being £3.2.6 due the 22 Ult.  For the future we desire you will not take bare words but have regard to letters and Observe the Directions contained in them.
