December 8th 1758  This day I wrote Mr Chris Bell and sent him a Memorandum of the Names of the Tenants in Arrears at Mayday 1758 in his District and also to Mr Cutht. Johnson with the Names of the Tenants in Arrears at the Same Time That we have appointed Thursday the 21 Inst December 1758 a Recept. Day at the Signe of the George in Gateshead.

NB I desired Mr Bell to write Mr Ridley to be down the same day with what fee farme Rents he had reced.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
