Gentlemen

	Friday the 22nd instant is fixed for the Distribution of Sir Walter Blacketts annual Charity which will be given in Money only; so you are desired to give Ticketts as usual to Two hundred poor people of your parish & bring them altogether to Sir Wr Blacketts exactly at Eight o’Clock that Morning.                    I am etc    HR



Wrote to the above Effect to the Churchwardens of All Saints to Tickett 300 poor of their parish to be at Sir Walters exactly at 10 o’Clock



Wrote to the above Effect to the Churchwardens of Saint Nichs to Tickett 200 poor of their parish to be at Sir Walters exactly at one o’Clock



Wrote to the above Effect to the Churchwardens of Saint Johns to Tickett 220 poor of their parish to be at Sir Walters exactly at two o’Clock

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
