           In Durham



Sir

	I wrote you on the 29th. of April last desiring you would send to Mr. Darwin the <Poster> on the Indictment of the Road from Edmonbiars to Blaydon - but find you have not done it - it is necessary for me to repeat my Request that you will transmit it to Mr. Darwin without delay.  I shall be at Durham the latter end of this week, or the next, & if you have not then sent it to Mr Darwin hope you will have it ready to deliver to me.    I am etc   HR

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
