Mr Alderman

I have sent my servant to you with £50 & Desire you will send me a bill for that sum tho it be 15 or 20 Dayes after date payable to me or my order & youl oblige

I shall have no occasion for moneys this Long time
in Ripon Cathedral: ‘Charles Lister, Alderman, & thrice Mayor of Ripon, died, ye 14th of Febry. A. Dom. 1730, ætat. 70’

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
