An Exact Copy of the Agreement with Mr Abram Watson for Lead Oar on Behalfe of the Commrs of the Royal Hospital at Greenwich

June 18th 1736 Memorandm it is this day Agreed between Messrs Nicho Walton & Hugh Boag on the one part and Abram Watson.  Agent for the Govr & Co for Smelting down Lead etc on the othr part that is to Say the Said Abram Watson Shall for all the well Dress’d Ore to be Deliverd to him or his Ordr Raisd and Arising as Dues or Dutey Ore in the Manr of Aldston moor for the Years 1735 & 1736 before xmass next, the Severall prices following that is to Say for every Bing of Grove Ore <42s:6> and every Bing of wash or Cutting Ore 37s:8d and one Gunie over at the whole to be paid for to the Sd Nicho Walton & Hugh Boag or their ordr at or upon the first day of April 1737   Witness my hand   Abram Watson

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
