	Inclosed is an Accot. of the proceedings at the Courts held for the Manners of Castlerigg Derwentwater & Thornthwaite Consisting of 12 sheets from page 1 to the 45. for the Boards perusall viz:



Castleriggs and Derwentwater Manour. 



From Page the 1st to the 3d & part of the 4th is the Call of the Court and for what Tenaments they Enjoy

Part of the 4 & 5th pages is an Accot. of Keswick Burrow Rents.

Part of the 5th Page is Keswick & <Jurees> Rents.

Part of the 5th Page is an Accot. of Gawin Harris’s Rent & Gressoms, being a Lease of a House & Garden for 1000 Years.

From Page the 6th to the 12th is the Jurys Verdict & presentments for the abovesaid Manour.

From Page 13th to the 15th is an Accot. of the Dropping or Descent <4s> fines  certain for the Sd Manour.

From Page the 16th to the 26th is an Accot. of the General Assessment of the <4s> fines Certain for the Sd manour.

Page the 27th is an Accot. of the Arbitrary Dropping fines for D<erwentwater>.

From Page the 28th to the 31st is an Accot. of the General  Admitt<ances> Arbitrary fines for D[erwentwater]. Manour.

Part of the 31st Page is an Accot. of the Services Due for D<erwentwater>. Manr. for 7 Years to Martinmas 1738.

Do. 34 & 35 is the Jurys Verdict & presentments 

Do. 36 & 37 is the Arbitrary Dropping or Descent fines.

From Page 37th to 45 is the General admitting  Arbitrary Fines.



	Inclosed is also an Abstract of the whole whereby youll see the Fines now Assessed, and the Rents & Services to Martinmas 1738 Amounts to in all £1100 – 4 – 6 and is to be paid 11th & 12th of October Next.

	We have been as Exact & Carefull in Assessing the whole as we Possibly could and hope the Board will think so.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
