	Inclosed herein we send you agreements we have made with Several Workmen, Amounting in the whole to two Thousand & Ninety two pounds three shillings & Eightpence for repairing Housing and new building Housing on the Derwentwater estate, which we hope the Board will Approve of. This work will be all Finished this Sum.r & is the Bulk of the Repairs to be yet done on the estate.

	We have recd. the following proposals for purchasing the Dues of Lead Ore rais’d & to be raised from Christmas last to Mich. next Viz.

	Mr Amb. Appleby for Bouse Ore 46s & for Cutting Ore 41s per Bing

	Mr Ab ram. Watson for Bouse Ore 46. & for Cutting Ore 41 per Bing

	G. Liddell Esqr & Ptner for Bouse Ore 47s6d & for Cutting Ore 42s6d per Bing & Geo. Liddell Esqr & Ptners being the best bidders we have agreed with them Subject to the Approbation of the Board, & hope they will Approve thereof. These Dues have been advertised six weeks in the Newcastle Journall .

	We have reced. the 21 Leases & Counterparts & part of them are Signed by the Tenants. & we are Sr Yr most Obed. Servts.

P.S. We have reced. from Mr Maul according to the Boards order a Copy of Mr Thompson’s Survey of the Derwentwater Estate for wch he paid portage at London, they Refusing to take it in without pay.

For taking Down & Rebuild’g a House <21> foot by 15 foot , a Byer below it  the same length & Breadth, Build’g a new Stable 21 foot by 15 foot , putting up Racks & mangers in it  & a Loft above for a Granery . Build’g a Milkhouse 12 foot by 6 ½ foot, & also Repair’g & Point’g the Old Barn & other Housing in a workmanlike Manner Exclusive of Leading Materials for the sum of £55, -, -   



John Fairlam of Haydon Town his Housing &c

For taking off the Old Roof & new Roof’g a House 21 foot by 15 foot Mend’g , Point’g & Plaister’g the Walls & Building Stone Staires. Repair’g the Byer below the House &c. Also Repair’g the Old Barn & a Cottage , & Build’g a New Stable 20 by 16 foot wth a Granery above it  Exclusive of Leading for the sum of £50,-,-
