Sir

	We reced yours with the Boards Minutes of the 14th & 17th of last Month in Answer to which we are under no Covenants with any Tenants in the Derwentwater Estate for building or Repairing Housing, further than this.  That all Tenants to whom farmes were Confirmed to Comence at last Mayday made their proposals particularly mentioning that they had expected their Housing put into Tenantable Repaire.  The Housing on Newlands and Whittonstall are in so badd repaire that unless something is done  most of the Tenants cannot Subsist even this nixt Winter but with great difficulty, tho as the Season is So farr Spent they must dispence in the best Manner they can till Next year.

	There has been Sold by Mr Bunting Bayliff out of the Weedings of Woods etc under his care as followeth Vizt
