To Wm. Corbett Esqr., London



Sir

      Inclosed we send you our Contingent Accot. for the last three Months Ending the 30th September last Amounting to thirteen pound three Shillings & nine pence which we desire you will lay before the Board for their Approbation.

      We have also Inclosed the affadavitt of the remaining part of the Woods being numbered as was desired which we also desire you‘ll  please to lay before the Board. This has been a Tedious Jobb, but we hope its now done to the Satisfaction of the Directors. We sett out the morrow upon a Receipt of the mayday Rents & it will be abot  10 or 14 days before we  returne. we are.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates. It was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and the generous support of other sponsors. Friends of the North Pennines: Charity No:1137467
