Sir

	We reced yours with the Boards Minutes of the 7 Inst wch we duly Observe, & as soon as the Affidavittsare finished relating the Amerciments made in the manour of Wark, they shall be sent You. 

Inclosed we send you Particulars for filling up Twenty five Leases more & begg you will forward them with all speed, as allso the 54 which are signed pray hasten down as the tenants are very uneasie & some are likely to give up their Farmes for want of ‘em. You will likewise herewith receive Mr Simpsons Instructions for filing an information against Mr Jefferson for Cutting Wood in Thornthwaite wch Mr Radley wrote to us for.  We have Lett to Joseph Kirkley a Slate Quarry in the Manour of Wark at 5s per ann., which lyes within that part of the Manour Claimed by Mr Algood, which we hope will be a Stop towards Establishing the Hospitalls rights therein. Mr Algood we hear Inclines not to try his his right with the Hospitall .

	Joseph Armstrong of Netherholme has given up his Farme, Jas Thompson the like for Dilston hall, Joseph Mackelly the like for Grey Mare Colliery, Mary Wright of Elrington is dead, Wm & Arthur Storys Farme for Lorbottle Tythes is Expired, so that all these Farmes are now to be Lett, & for whcih we have the follow.g Proposalls viz

	Ra Stobbs proposes for Netherholme £5 per Ann & Geo Blackburn proposes for the same £5:5:- for 18 years; the old Rent is £5 so that we think Geo Blackburn shou’d be admitted tenant.

	Wm & Arthur Storye proposes to give for Lorbottle Tyths £35 per Ann for 7n years & John Swan & Ptners proposes to five £36 per Ann for 7 years. The former are Substantiall Tenants and the latter are not so that we think unless John Swan & Ptners can find Security for the payment of the Rent , Wm & Arthur Story should be admitted Tenants. The old Rent is £35 per Ann.

	Abraham Bunting proposes to give for Dilston hall £6 per Ann having an allowance of 30 Fothers of Coales Annually. The Rent for this year is £10 a year, for the two preceeding years was only £6 per Ann. We think it will Scarce Lett for more than £6 per Ann.

	We have nothing offered for Grey Mare Colliery, therefore should be advertized.

	Mary Wrightson offers the same Rent which his Mo<the>r payd for Elrington which we think is its full value & therefore the Young Man who also proposes to pay up the Arrear of Rent, shoud we think be admitted Tenant.

	Throckley Mill is likewise given up, so that she must be advertized.
