To Mr Horne                                     			Ravensw’th Castle   June 24 1759



Dear Sir

      We have reced yours this day & observe yr remark in regard to the Leases wch do not lye with us. We sent you Draughts of both the Lead Mine & Land Leases wch we apprehend were ordered to be delivered to Mr Everest, who afterwards sent us one of the Lead Mine Draughts with some alterations, to wch we gave him our answer upon the 6th of April last since wch time we have heard nothing.  You will therefore be so good as putt Mr Everest in mind of Expediting them, as nothing shall postpone them on our part   & am for Mr Boag & Self     Sir   yrs etc

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
