Sir

Enclosed we send Robert Jacksons Rect. for a Box in which is our General Account, Rentalls and Vouchers for two Years Ending the 30th June last directed to your care And will be delivered to your order at the White Horse without Cripplegate on Saturday the 11th March Next. You will be pleased to order some proper persons to call for it. And Lay the Account before the Board for their perusal and Approbation. The Carriage is paid.

Mr Wm. Robson who holds a Colliery at Hartburngraing of the Hospital at Five pounds per anm. . has given us notice that he cannot continue to pay the Rent longer than Mayday Next for want of Mine, but having erected an Engineering Estate which may be useful in drawing water from a Neighbouring Colliery he is willing to pay the Rent above mentioned having that additional liberty granted him. And in case the Colliery of Hartburngraing should be hereafter wrought he is willing to pay Twelve shillings per Tonn for all Coales wrought. You will be pleased to Acquaint the Board therewith & that we think what Mr Robson proposes reasonable, as the Hospital will have the present Rent continued and a Chance of an additional one in case the Colliery of Hartburngraing shall be hereafter wrought.

We observe the Board have no objection to the division of Broadpoole Wark and Ellingham Rigg Common provided they have their share as Lords of the Mannor of Wark but as they take no notice of Ellingham Rigg in p’ticular we begg leave to desire you will put them in mind of it And begg they will be pleased to reconsider it upon perusal of our Letter of the 9th December last a Coppy of which you have Inclosed We are

      Sir your most obed. Servts.
