       We have received your Letter of the 17th Instant and will furnish you with Sixty Fodders of rough Litharge such as you have already had from Langley Lead Mill upon the Terms expressed in our Letter to you of the 7th of May last, the same to be delivered at our Lead Wharf at Skinner Burn in the Months of December January and February ensuing the Date hereof. But we must make a Point of having the Bung at the end of the Casks and the Bunghole must be Four Inches Diameter if round or Four Inches Square. You answer is desired as as soon as your convenience will permit. We are Gents

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
