To Mr John Maul

Dear Sr

We wrote you the 29th Jan last and therein Impowered you to gratifye Mr Woodhouse for any trouble he may have had in forming our accot. & since that have had no answer from you which we are really verry much concernd at. We are ready to send the accot. for last year, but would not willingly doe it till the preceeding one has had the boards Concurance and it woud indeed be proposterous to doe it, before we have had the former one before them which has never yet been done. Your advice and assistance in this therefore what we must Earnestly disire, whether it would not be most proper to joyn the two years accot. together or not for to lay them seperate before them we think does not look well and we are really at a loss what reason to give for the former not having long agoe been laid before them. We desire your answer thereto by return of the post, Your Annuall <allowance> wch we promised you due at Christmas last we send you Inclosed by bill on Mr Benj. Shutt pay<a>ble on demand wch youll please to acknowledge the Recet. of and at the same time if anything is Necessary to be done for your Clerks trouble be so good as name it & youle oblige , Dear Sir,

      Your most obliged Hble Servts

      Nich. Walton Hugh Boag

PS Please to make a Tender of our Compliments to Mrs Maul your little family & all friends.
