Letter – Nicholas Walton to John Maule – 29 May 1741

Dear Sir

      We reced. yours of the 23 May Inst with Mr Woodhouses letter and the State of our Accot. abstracted for the year 1738 & 1739 & to the 30 June 1740, in which we observe, no material differences  — That of the passing fees for 1738 to June 1739 is we observe brought forward to June & is called £49-12-1 ½ in all but you will please to observe that £18-18-0 of it has been pay’d to Mr Hunter for the passing fees of the Accot. for the year 1737, & was not included in the Quietus for that year   —  The poundage is verry right, as the money reced. for Rents due at Mayday 1740 is not included in the Accot. ending June 1740 so that the whole we shall be glad to hear is pased in the Shape Mr Woodhouse has putt it. You may please to lett Mr Audit[or] Hunter know that the passing fees shall be sent him as soon as the Accots are declared or when he pleases wich will amount to £49-12-1 ½ Viz

Fees for the Accot to 30 June 1739   £30-14-1 1/2

Fees for the Accots to  30 June 1740 £18-18-0

                                     £49-12-1 1/2
