Sir

      This serves to acquaint you we have fixed the Derwentwater Courts to be Holden at Keswick the 12 October next, & the day following at Thornthwaite, if one is necessary, of which you will give the proper notice.  Ned Nicholson is wrote to this day.  I will take care you shall have the proper style of the <Court> against the Courts  but I think it may be right for you to have the Act of Parliament, which no doubt you can get by sending for it, the Charge of which shall be pay’d you

                              16     Monday receive at Hexham

                              17     Tuesday Court at Newlands & receive at Hexham

                              18     Wednesday Court at Haydon Bridge

                              19     Thursday Court at Wark

                              20     Friday D[itt]o & return to Harlow Hill

                              21      Saturday come home

                              26     Thursday receive at Gateshead

                              24     Tuesday receive at Whittingham

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
