Sir

      You receive inclosed the Clauses as approved By Mr. Fawcett for impowering the Commissioners and Governors of Greenwich Hospital to Lett Leases of Mines and Minerals and Lands connected there with without Advertizement a duplicate of which Mr. Peters sends to Mr Everest this Day by my desire and as soon as the Draft of the Bill, for the Division of Fourstones Common and the Exchanges with his Grace the Duke of Northumberland is finished and in which the above Clauses are proposed to be included, Copys of the Draft will be sent to you and to Mr Everest without loss of Time.  I am for Mr Turner & Self

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
