Sir,

       We have rec[eive]d your Letter of the 20th Inst and will this Day draw upon you for £235.6.5 payable 30 Days after Date being for 827 ½ ounces of fine silver at 5s/8 ¼d per ounce. I am for Self & Sir John Turner. Sir

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
