Dear Sir,

       We have rec[eive]d your Letter of the 22nd Inst and have this Day drawn upon you for £203.7.8 being the Amount of 710 Ounces of fine silver at 5/8 ¾ per ounce. We are

The Bill is payable 40 Days after Date. 



£203.7s.8d Forty Days after Date pay to the Order of Messrs Eden Ridley Cookson Widdrington & Co. Two Hundred & Three Pounds Seven Shillings and Eight Pence – Value received – as advised by – Walton & Turner

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
