Sr, agreeable to yours of the 13th inst I here inclose you Hen Reay’s bill on Math Featherstone at 20 days date dated this day for the sum of £9 13s 3d the amount of your Note. I desire you will own the recpt hereof by the returne of the post to yrs etc  JR

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
