Gents.

      I hope you are Sensible of the loss which I have Sustained by the bargain of wood which I had of Mr Watson which I gave you a true Accot. of and Since that I have Suffered upwards of £30 by bad Debts so Gentlemen I hope you’ll  lett me have the 30 Tuns of Wood or the Value according to agreement and as you gave me reason to hope it wou’d be done when the Remainder of the Wood was Sold. I thought proper to acquaint you with the prices I sold the wood at which was from two to four Pounds per Tunn & after deducting the felling and converting I compute to have made £2 10 p Tunn Neet of the wood in Accot. which I dar say youll think reasonable to Allow me My Article Expressly Entitles me to the 30 Tuns of Wood & if I may have that I shall rather  Chuse it than the Allowance I above Claim which amounts to £75. I desire you’ll be so good as give me a Speedy Ans.r. & You’ll Oblige
